I
lost a good friend last week. We met just a few years ago but instantly felt
like we'd known each other forever. Maybe that's a testament to the kind of man
he was or maybe it was just one of those things. We shared a love of good
food, devotion to family and appreciation for great friends. It seems we
agreed on practically everything right down to our favorite television shows.
But our strongest connection was a fanatical addiction to golf. He had a
strong swing and an eagle eye, he was much better than me but that will
never stop me from trying to be him. I hope to someday be as strong a
person as he was, both on and off the golf course. Play on Bernie.
